elogind service releases v238.3/v239.3 are published!

Now that elogind has been added to debian, we put quite some effort in updating the documentation. I am sure that there are still inconsistencies, or at least differences, that are not pointed out thoroughly enough. But the enhancements are a real start. And now, after many hours of editing and testing, the elogind service releases v238.3 and v239.3 are published!

Version 238.3 Release

This is a service release bringing the following changes and fixes:

Fixes in v238.3

  • Clean up bus_creds_dump()
  • Fix documentation to refer to elogind. (#98)
  • Handle signal blocking and handling like introduced in v239.2.
  • Use latest ‘struct statx’ fix from upstream

Changes / Additions in v238.3

  • Added busctl to be shipped with elogind.
  • sd_bus_creds_get_[user_]slice() simplified.
  • Updated documentation to be more consistent (#98)
  • Also search machine-id in the dbus default path. (#100)
  • Added missing license information.
  • Allow c99-style mixed code and declarations.
  • Update README, we have an #elogind channel on freenode now.
  • Fix handling of program_invocation[_short]_name (#92)

Version 239.3 Release

This is a service release, bringing the following changes and fixes:

Fixes in v239.3

  • Clean up bus_creds_dump()
  • Fix documentation to refer to elogind. (#98)
  • Fixed another Unicode test that has slithered in. (#99)

Changes / Additions in v239.3

  • sd_bus_creds_get_[user_]slice() simplified.
  • Updated documentation to be more consistent (#98)
  • Also search machine-id in the dbus default path. (#100)
