Line of Sight: Infiltrator – Season 04
Episode 1: Major Investment
Two years after Commander Shepard repelled invading Reapers bent on the destruction of organic life, a mysterious new enemy has emerged. On the fringes of known space, something is silently abducting entire human colonies. Now Shepard must work with Cerberus, a ruthless organization devoted to human survival at any cost, to stop the most terrifying threat mankind has ever faced.

Episode 2: Old Friends
Shepard is not alone in being rebuilt by Cerberus. The organization has also rebuilt the Normandy. Constructed at great and laborious expense in the Voyager Cluster, the ship is very similar to the Systems Alliance’s SSV Normandy SR-1, having been based on the design layout of the original. With his new ship Commander Shepard first flies to the Citadel to meet with some old friends.

Episode 3: I Am Omega
Built in the mined-out husk of a metallic asteroid, Omega has been a haven for criminals, terrorists, and malcontents for thousands of years. Only mercenary groups have been able to instill a limited order; the most ruthless is an asari syndicate run by the notorious Aria T’Loak. Also known as the “Pirate Queen” of Omega, Aria is fiercely possessive of the space station and will do anything to protect it and maintain her dominance.

Season 04 with stalls and new possibilities
In December 2021 two things happened. I finally had saved up the money to buy a new 2K gaming monitor on “Black Friday” in late November. And I discovered, that my laptop was actually capable of rendering Mass Effect 2 in 2K (WQHD; 2460×1440) resolution with 145 FPS. The caveat was, that I had to disable reShade.
This means, that from now on I will make 2K videos and can record in 120FPS, which will later be dejittered (ffmpeg mpdecimate+minterpolate) on 120 FPS and then scaled down to the final 60 FPS.
Also in December 2021 one of my external hard drives broke down in the middle of a project about all the Mass Effect Space Battles. The manufacturer retrieved my data from it, and I got a substitute drive, but it took months! Instead of in late December, the video about the Space Battles was published in April 2022. This also meant that it took a while until I could continue with LoSI Season 04.
But this had a nice side effect. While working on rebuilding my processing around one drive less, I also upgraded to Mass Effect Legendary Edition, at least for ME1 and ME2 in January 2022. Although some important mods are not yet ported to Mass Effect 3 LE, so I stay on OT with the third part, I can totally live without the OT mods that have not yet been ported to ME1:LE and ME2:LE.
Episode 4: Archangel
Archangel is a mercenary commander whose operations are noted for their technical expertise and strategic brilliance. He is responsible for high-profile attacks on gang leaders on Omega and can likely be found there.

Episode 5: The Professor
Dr. Mordin Solus is a salarian biological weapons expert whose technology may hold the key to countering Collector attacks. He is currently operating a medical clinic in the slums of Omega.

Episode 6: Unforgotten
The Alliance has found the wreckage of the SSV Normandy on the planet Alchera. They have asked that a monument be placed on the site and any sign of the remaining 20 missing crew members recovered.

Episode 7: Illium
Despite the dangers of its products, Illium is renowned for glamour, luxury, and safety (provided by near-total surveillance), making it a favored tourist destination. Countless celebrities maintain palatial estates on Illium and in its capital, Nos Astra. The sole obstacle to business on Illium is its extensive bureaucracy, tolerated only for its provision of security.

Episode 8: Samara
Samara is a nearly thousand-year-old Asari Justicar, a member of an ancient monastic order following a strict honor code. Though she is skilled with weapons, Samara usually relies on her powerful biotic abilities. Justicars rarely leave Asari space, but Samara’s pursuit of justice has brought her to Illium.

Episode 9: Thane
Thane Krios is a drell assassin, rumored to be the most skilled in the galaxy. Unlike most assassins, who prefer to snipe their targets from a distance, Thane prefers to get up close and kill his target personally, utilizing a mixture of stealth, firearms, hand-to-hand combat and biotic abilities.
